[Stay at] Home Run raises record-setting amount for Places for People

The 2020 Highland Yard went virtual because of the pandemic. The 2020 [Stay at] Home Run proved to be the most successful to date, raising over $25,000! In addition to the record fundraising efforts, there was an increased enthusiasm and drive among all that participated.

History

The Highland Yard was taken over in 2012 in a joint effort between Minden Rotary and Places for People. The following year, Places for People assumed total control of the race which has undoubtedly become our most successful long-running fundraiser. Over $144,000 has been raised to date, helping us provide affordable rental housing across Haliburton County.

Milestone run for 2021

Planning has already begun for the 50th running of the Highland Yard in 2021. Details will be posted everywhere Places for People and Highland Yard news appears as soon as it becomes available.
